Bella Scott

Bella specialises in criminal and regulatory litigation. He has 12 years of advocacy experience and assists both senior barristers and clients with their litigation needs.

Areas of practice

Bella began her legal career handling prosecutions on behalf of the state and various government authorities in Germany.

She later joined a leading commercial law firm, where she focused on commercial and civil litigation, as well as advising corporate clients on regulatory compliance and legal risk management.

Bella has extensive experience as a civil litigator, having appeared in proceedings before both the Regional Courts (Landgerichte) and Higher Regional Courts (Oberlandesgerichte), including in appellate matters. She has also acted in arbitration hearings, administrative tribunals, expert determinations, and investigative proceedings, including inquests before the coroner. During her time in London, she supported numerous high-level judicial reviews and Court of Appeal matters for the UK Treasury Solicitor’s Office.

Bella’s current practice centres on criminal and regulatory litigation in Germany, including cases under the Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG), health and safety violations, and economic crimes such as fraud. She also assists in investigations and coronial inquiries. Bella is a member of the prosecution panel for the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Berlin.
